Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Arabic lessons in alignment with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
• Teach Arabic language (reading, writing, speaking, listening) with a focus on fluency, comprehension, and grammar.
• Integrate Islamic stories, values, and moral teachings into lessons where appropriate.
• Use innovative and creative methods, including IT tools and PowerPoint, to enhance student engagement.
• Differentiate instruction to cater to the varying abilities of students.

Student Development & Assessment

• Support students in developing confidence and love for the Arabic language.
• Foster Islamic character (akhlaq), discipline, and respect through teaching.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in language learning.

Classroom & Learning Environment

• Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
• Use teaching aids, digital tools, and interactive activities to bring Arabic learning to life.
• Manage student behavior in a positive and respectful manner.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work collaboratively with other subject teachers to align school-wide curriculum goals.
• Communicate effectively with parents about student progress.
• Participate actively in school events, workshops, and staff meetings.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Arabic Language / Education.
• Strong knowledge of Arabic language, grammar, and teaching methodologies.
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Arabic at primary level preferred (but candidate without experience will be considered).
• Proficiency in English and French (advantageous for communication with parents and staff).
• IT literate with proficiency in PowerPoint and other digital tools.
• Innovative and creative in teaching approaches.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to Islamic values, teamwork, and continuous professional growth.
