Key Responsibilities

Classroom Support

• Assist the lead teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons and activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to children as directed by the teacher.
• Support children’s learning through play-based and interactive activities.
• Help with classroom organization, distribution of learning materials, and supervision during lessons.

Child Care & Development

• Attend to the daily needs of young children, including feeding, changing clothes, and assisting with potty training.
• Encourage good manners, discipline, and Islamic values in daily routines.
• Foster children’s social, emotional, and physical development in a caring manner.
• Assist with children’s hygiene and health needs where required.

Classroom Environment & Safety

• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support in setting up classrooms, displays, and resources.
• Supervise children during playtime, mealtime, and outdoor activities.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure smooth classroom operations.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with children, staff, and parents.
• Participate in staff training, school events, and development activities.

Requirements

• Experience working with pre-primary children is an advantage.
• Ability to manage and care for young children aged 3 to 5, with patience, empathy, and responsibility.
• IT literate, with basic knowledge of tools like PowerPoint (to support teaching activities).
• Innovative and creative in engaging children through activities and learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to Islamic values and holistic child development.
• SC with at least credits in Maths, French and English.
• HSC will be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English and French.
• Passionate about teaching and dedicated to nurturing children in line with Islamic values.
