Our Programme

Our Pre-Primary Programme builds upon the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for Pre-Primary education, offering an enriched learning experience with a strong foundation in Islamic and moral values, Quran studies, and Arabic.

Over and above the NCF, we cover the following during the 3 year Pre-Primary programme:

• Life of Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ)
• Moral Values
• Salaat (Prayer)
• Roza and Ramadan
• Introduction to Arabic letters

Our Primary programme is also an extension of the NCF, whereby emphasis is laid upon a strong foundation in Islamic Studies, the Quran and Arabic language.

Since 2015, by the Grace of Allah, we have implemented a unique and effective approach to teaching Arabic tailored for Mauritian children. Our curriculum combines the highly regarded Arabiyya Bayna Yaday Awladina series with the MIE Arabic textbooks, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging learning experience.

At our school, Arabic is a mandatory subject introduced from Pre-Primary and continues as an integral part of the Primary education journey. Our goal is to nurture Arabic language proficiency in our students, and inshaAllah, we aspire to see them fluent in Arabic by the time they complete Grade 6

Islamic studies lies at the heart of our vision, reflecting our commitment to nurturing a strong foundation in faith for our students. Our aim is to instill in them a deep understanding of Islamic principles, values, and teachings, enabling them to lead lives guided by compassion, integrity, and purpose. Through a comprehensive and engaging curriculum, we strive to empower our students to embody their faith confidently and contribute positively to their communities and the world at large.

At our school, we believe in the power of play and sports to foster physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth. Our students enjoy a variety of activities, from free play and structured games to specialized training in sports like badminton and karate.

Badminton helps develop agility, coordination, and focus, while karate builds discipline, self-confidence, and resilience. These activities not only keep our students active and healthy but also teach them valuable life skills such as perseverance, respect, and teamwork.

We aim to create a balanced environment where students can thrive academically, physically, and socially, nurturing their overall well-being and helping them unlock their full potential.
